In my case those two are one anyway. Showing itself when I enter the dream world... which I only (and automatically) do, when I am low on energy and need to feed. I totally become that instinct driven dreamwalker, who has only one goal until the "hunger" is appeased. Then I normally am a bit of my "normal self" again, more savage and playful though... and just fool around, until I have to shift back into my physical body.

I never really considered myself vampiric... to be honest I don't like the connotations that come with that particular label... but for a very long time (about age 5 to 28 ), I had a severe energy deficiency that needed to be met. After my second awakening (when it got really really bad) I found that the more deficient I was in energy the more of the "darker" Aspects would come out and the more I'd look around me and see prey and not people. I'd also be less stable and less in control of the mental shifting so my behaviour and memory was extremely erratic, I didn't really function at all unless I was meeting those energy needs. Before I learnt how to use magick to call the required energies it was very very difficult to cope with... especially once I realised what I was doing to those around me with subconscious ambient feeding (I didn't want to hurt folks, but I couldn't function without energy.. and my general draining amounts were too much even for ethical crowd feeding).
But all my energy problems stopped when I got my Reiki level 1 attunement two years ago. The reiki energy just continuously flows through me so there's no deficiency any more, unless I'm exhausted from pain or insomnia.

I am a vampire and I need blood, but I can go 10 months maximum w/o it. Is that bad? And is it smart to change anyone more than one person? Is there any danger? And should I join my clan w/ another clan? Is there danger in that? I can see people's pasts and futures, and they are always certain until someone interferes with them. I'm leader of my clan and I fear that I may screw up and put them into danger.

This post is really old, but I figured I would answer it anyway since it had been brought back up, and I hadn't been around for when it had first been posted.
For me, my kin type as mimic and my condition as vampire only sometimes link. When I am more active in shifts, it makes sense to say that I need more energy. In addition, if I spend time in the shifts of beings that are more predatory in nature, that's when I notice the most connection between my kin self and my vampiric self. But that makes a good bit of sense itself 
neihra_corvus, I'm going to reply to some of your concerns in a pm. That way I won't totally take this thread from its original intent

Guardian, Vampire, and chaotic little Mimic all wrapped up in one. The pieces don't belong together, but they make for an experience I don't think I'd trade for anything.
