Hello everyone!
So I figured this might be an interesting topic. I myself prefer meditation and astral viewing as my primary mode of astral interaction. But for as long as I could remember, there were always certain places I'd seen in my dreams as well as in meditation that my mind had gone to ever since I was very little. I call these little slices of alternate realities "pockets" or places my mind likes to enter or view even when I'm not actively trying to get there.
I have a few pockets but the earliest one I can remember was from when I was about 3 or 4 years old. I had a reoccurring dream where I was in a room but found a crawlspace in the wall the wasn't there when I was awake. So I crawled through, it was very cold and dark. But when I reached the end, there was a tiny encased room, deep within the wall. But instead of a floor there were shadowed white clouds, alite by a very bright yellow sun that seemed to sit just beyond them. Despite the brightness of the light, I could look at it and it would actually sooth my eyes. I felt profoundly safe there, I could roll around and occasionally small toys would appear in the clouds, most often small teddy bears or stuffed rabbits.
But as an adult, I still had this dream and was actively able to reach the pocket by meditation. I go there in times of extreme distress, but that has only been a few times in my life.
Do you all have something like this? If so, what are your pockets like? Do you think these are just dreams, or a link to some small space on the astral?

I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but I have an astral 'temple' which I created when I first started to get interested in witchcraft. My temple space is beneath a huge gnarled tree standing on the edge of an autumnal forest. Everything is surrounded by a thick mist and by the base of the tree is a still pool of water. I travel here to recharge, speak with totems or just to relax. It's sort of like a pit stop whenever I meditate, because I always go there first.

I don't believe there's an astral plane, at least not fully but I won't say "no it doesn't exist" because there's no proof it doesn't exist or proof that it does, but there are places my dreams usually lead to. The places are either very old or very woodsy. The most common is a large meadow in the which there is a large lake with reeds growing along the edges--the water is generally warm to the touch. The meadow is bordered by a wild forest, the forest is sometimes closer to the lake or right at the border of the meadow.
I also had a recurring dream to a large mall, but each dream added a little more to the original dream. The mall was circular and it sat on a small cliff next to an ocean. The ocean was always stormy and there was always a large ship way out in the distance.
I think that they're just dreams for the reason I stated earlier.
