 I'm a fae of some type :P
I've been "aware" for 15 years; Im here for research

Hello all, I've been aware of what I am for a very long time. I'm an agnostic neo Pagan, and some kind of fae. I know that I have wings, but they are only for show. My wings have never been able to lift me in any lifetime, and I'm pretty sure they are just a manifestation of my energy. I have much stronger ties to Elves than I do to Faeries. I came here to research some topics that seem to be well known, but not commonly documented.

The "Astral Library", which most kin seem to know of and simply refer to as "THE Library". A place called "The Horizon" which seems to be a state of being and enlightenment where creation occurs. And finally "Pillars", real persons in the physical world who never change no matter how often they die and are reborn, and they are apparently Guardians to certain people, called "Keys" who can reach Horizon, and the top most floors of this Library.

Some past acquaintances claim that I am one of these "keys", but I don't buy it. Just wondering if anyone knows, or has heard anything. I'm a cynical skeptic rooted in logic, and I love to test this kind of information.

Welcome Smile In all honesty, the only people I've ever run into who believe in that library were...well...not the most credible individuals to put it nicely.

Hello and welcome.

Go with what you believe to be true; read your people's histories and, above all, trust your instincts.

LOL so I was right to be skeptical Razz I remember A library. But I have no idea if its the same one. There's more than a few links about the Astral Library, but the idea of one place holding that much knowledge would make any sane person question it's existence.

Can I ask why these individuals were not so credible, or what led you think them unreliable? I've recently started to think that maybe some of these "drama queen kin" could possibly be from an existence that is/was destroyed. They are few in number and so scattered that its nearly impossible to prove their claims. I've met lots of kin in 4 different states that know of these concepts, but only just; they have heard of them but have little to no personal information to offer.

I don't claim to have any proof on any of this myself. I came her to see what others might know.

Well, one of the people I ran into claimed to be the "keeper" of this library...and was naturally super powerful and could do all sorts of "awesome" and "impressive" feats even in our world as a human being. The all around tone of that forum was...yeah. Not naming names, but it wasn't one of the most well known places.

I know a "librarian" that used to make similar claims in his teen years, but when he met "Shade guy" over the phone, he even admitted that at best he's only a filing clerk and has never been to all of the rooms. He actually admitted this because Shade guy was asking about the top floor. The "librarian" was genuinely shocked, asked how SG even knew about those rooms because he didn't have that kind of access himself. You can see why I'm curious to find out about this place. Complete strangers who live hours apart were trading information like it was gold.

This librarian leads a humble human life and seems to be content. When he talks about his kin or spiritual life now, he treats it like a normal part of his day and doesn't over dramatize it or use it to impress people, so I'm inclined to believe his words are "true". True to him, and not meant to boost his ego.

SG also believes I am one of these "keys", and that was one of the first topics he brought up behind closed door. He's the 5th person to randomly approach me and ask me about this stuff. One from each state Ive lived in, two from my home town. He asked me if my Pillar was around, because he needed to ask me something. From the others, I already knew about the whole Pillar thing. But obviously that answer was "no", so he continued with his questions.

That sounds much more credible. Whenever someone goes on and on about how whatever makes them super special and powerful...it's time to Rolling Eyes .

The library idea jives to me. The spiritual reality I buy into mentions books, records. These are of course metaphoric, most likely, but it still means a body of knowledge being kept, which is AKA, a library.

Greetings and welcome. Interesting subject you bring up- the theme of a library or storehouse of knowledge a powerful metaphor for reality. It seems to me there are many different ways of experiencing greater wisdom/knowledge, so different groups will tend to have a slightly different perspective. As far as other people identifying your role as such... that is always a tricky subject. Few people from any background have the dedication to achieve such a level of consciousness so as to make those kind of calls. Obviously you feel there is enough truth there to explore it yourself, which is the most important thing. Experience trumps *all* in metaphysics.

As stated, I'm some kind of kin. Well to be more honest, I already knew that I'm a mod podge of various Fae energies, and after last night I now know that a huge chunk of it is quite likely Siren. I love to sing. Certain bands I can't not sing along. Like some kind of cardinal rule I must obey lol. I just met with, and was accepted into a preexisting coven of 8, and one of them kept insisting I share my singing with the others. He finally admitted that he could feel energy building around me whenever I sing and that it's very empowering and calming. He said he thinks when I sing I'm actually casting a spell. Huh, interesting. The Kitsune in particular loves my singing and often drifts off to sleep Smile
