Well, since we have a topic for where you are and what you're listening to, why don't we have one for what we're reading?

I'll start off: I am currently reading "Global Problems and the Culture of Capitalism" for my Sociology class. It is surprisingly interesting for a text book and I'm finding myself engaged in it.

I got some new books today from Amazon, one about Adaptogens which is for my course, and one called "Moon Time", which is about living with moon cycles. Very good book (even though I've only started it today).

Oh geeze. I wish I could remember the titles and authors of all the books I'm reading. I have a tendancy to read multiple books at once. >.<

Wolf Captured by Jane Lindskold. Which I just found out is not the first book in the Firekeeper series. >.< Actually, it's the fourth. So that gives me the challenge of finding the first three.

Miniar-I have that book, but never really read much of it. Do you like it?

Well if textbooks do count, I'm reading McGraw Hill's Pre-GED, and doing the work ^-^ and in a few days I'll be getting a bunch of fun literature from Amazon (I can't wait!).

it's absolutely brilliant, very clever, and rather political.

I absolutely adore that book. <3

Just finished reading The Darkness That Comes Before by R. Scott Bakker. I am now starting book two.
It's an amazing fantasy book set in a post apocolyptic world with medieval-ish technology. It's got politics, philosophy, holy war, gritty romance (as opposed to fluffy), amazing characters, fascinating and realistic cultures, sorcery, psychology, religion...Everything. The author has a great grasp of human nature. And it's written so well...Nothing happens out of convenience. It is the character's wits pitted against circumstance that none of them can control (although some believe they can). It is one of the most fascinating books I've ever read. <3
*is overly enthusiastic about books in general*

Book two of my sci-fi series (editing like mad)

Nemisis by Isaac Azimov

Medium Rare by Jeanette Wilson

When I read, I tend to read multiple books as well.

The Amulet of Samarkand, Book One of the Bartimaeus Trilogy, by Jonathan Stroud.

I don't know why, but I absolutely adore those books, this'll be my second time reading them.

I think you should buy it. It's kinda short, but totally worth it. <3

'Film Art' by Bordwell and Thompson for University... I'm also re-reading The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice.
