Vortex
A few personal things going on with me.. true name
|
 |
|
I'm not called to say much here (as in, I don't tend to say much unless I'm called to, or intuition tells me to), but right now, I am, so.. Not exactly sure where to start..
As I said in my introductory thread (http://www.otherkincommunity.net/post34992?highlight=#34992), the part of my True Name I know, is Gaia.. since then, I've realized the last and middle, if you will, parts of my name..
Gaia Vortex Dragon
I'm still feeling it out a lot.. and once I knew it, I went through my energy being even more empowered.. to the point that now I am no longer part of the Medicine/Shamanic group I spoke of before..
At one point it even felt like a physical transformation, my body in pain from it.. didn't sleep much at all that night, ehehe.
I have this one friend, who, although I have not met in physicality, I've met online, and his Spirit sight/hearing/etc is rather developed. After I found my True Name, he, with my permission, tried to look at my True Self. He was blocked by a large dragon.. He tried again later, and was knocked back.
A couple days later we tried again, this time making sure my friend was grounded, (which he said he was before, but apparently not enough) and the dragon let him pass this time..
Here's what he said, when he was able to look:
"Wow.....The dragon allowed my presence."
"A-Amazing. I've never seen such beauty....Theres no way i could draw something so....."
"Perfect....."
"There's no way I could draw your true self even if I lived for several thousand years...."
He also said that the only person he'd ever met who had a dragon guardian like that was the sleeping king, King Arthur.. Well, he said he met the sword (who loves battles), and was just out of range of Draco, who was/is Arthur's guardian..
Since then I've looked myself, and from what I could see.. at the time, my True Self looked like.. a great white dragon, no shades to any part of it, though it's eyes were as deep and black as the void..
Though now if I look again, it's different..
So, now knowing my True Name, I'm taking on more of my true power..
And last night it felt like there were.. an infinite amount of dragons surrounding me..
Even to the point I felt/heard them say, "We're here."
I don't have very many people to talk to about this, and I would like very much to hear your opinions/impressions on it.. Though, of course.. they'll be taken with a grain of salt.. as my intuition, and discernment always come first before I accept anything..

First of all I would like to know what makes you feel that "Gaia Vortex Dragon" is your name, and not a title.
Also, I'm curious if that is the English translation of your name, or if that is how you heard it?
Personally I've found that having some form of guards or guardians is not too uncommon, though the "type" in my experience is different depending on your soul's age and heritage. I've seen things as simple as the spirit form of one's mate acting as a guardian, to guards having been assigned by another or even oneself to guard the human or inhuman self. Personally I have both.
To me, it sounds in a way like you started a Second Awakening. You'll find some kin go through second, or even third/fourth awakenings.
Obviously it would seem you are some form of Dragonkin, though this is the first time I've heard of a White Dragon.
You'll notice, if you have MSN instant messenger, that I've sent you a friends request. ^^ I had something to say, but I forgot what it was while typing this post. ; ; lol terrible memory of mine.

I'm very interested to get to know you. I hope you allow me to have you on my MSN page. I have been looking for a white dragoness for a very long time that I know to be my True Mate. However many times I have chased phantoms and ended up looking pretty stupid. Though Gaia and your white dragoness description and sound like her as well as another's reaction to your innerself.
What was the dragon guard like? Because my soul is currently guarding my mate. Though my mate I know is named something like Andria or Andaria but she is the soul carrier of Gaia's spirit. Talk to you soon I hope.

Well, I trust myself, and my intuition.. My first impressions tend to be correct, more often than not.. though even then I go through a sort of questioning and discernment process within myself..
It is my name, it feels right to me, as a name, not as a title..
That is how I heard it, but asking myself if it is a translation.. gets a yes.
I've had other spirit guides before. Cherokee ancestor, animal totems, bigfoot.. as well as some faery friends. This does seem a bit different. Just feels different.. I'm still feeling it out a lot, though.
Well of course it's awakening! I know I'll always continue to grow. :3 (Which rhymes.)
On this computer, which I'm just using temporarily, I don't have MSN.. but I'll be sure to add you both once I get set up again with my own computer.
And Fareka.. As I said, it changes.. playing and shapeshifting.. which does sound like me.
I'd invite you to take a look, but you'd have to be really grounded.

*nods* That's how I first heard my name also. I know my name means "The Darkening Storm", but I have yet to actually hear my name in its original language, if that makes any sense. (Atrum Tempestas is latin for "Dark Storm" btw lol)

I find that usually "feelings" are correct, and if not, are at least the best lead. Personally I don't have any form of guide, never have, I always find out and feel out things based off of my own intuition/card readings/rune readings/dreams and so on. Generally I'm right. <.<
I suggest meditation! ^^ And probably tarot/rune etc readings if you do those. Personally I find such things to be very helpful.

I do not think of white dragons as that uncommon as one might think. Dragons come in an array of colors from the darkest void of black to a heavenly glowing white and everything in between, at least that is the case for my species, if not any other. Id be curious to know your species Gaia, as to my species the name Kalamadae actually translates the masculine form of a great white dragon, whereas my name Kalandria is the feminine form of it. Although I was named as great and white, my coloration of that life was a combination of blues and purples, depending on my mood would depending on the shade. This had me confused for some many years until I stumbled upon a handful of memories, i believe i was shopping or something when it happened. One particular memory was of my foster father (in that life my real mother and father were practically unknown) of him speaking to me while i was still young and learning our language, and i had asked him what my name had meant and he explained. When i became puzzled he said it was not the name my birth mother had given me, but the name he chose for me when he looked into my soul. Perhaps he knew something i didnt. I know he was old already when he was raising me. I am unsure of how old as age was counted differently to as it is here. My species was not an Earth species.
The existance with my foster father, my foster brother and foster sister (his young) is the oldest 'body' i can remember, but i am aware there is more before that. I do not know with certainty 'what' there was prior to that life i just know it was something. It is why i identify myself as dragon kin, the oldest form i can remember with enough detail. So i wonder when he said he named me for my soul and not my physical appearance, as was common with my species for naming, what indeed he meant by it. I may not discover in this life any of it, and if i dont it wont pain me for i am confident that my journey is far from over.
In the past recent months i have uncovered that at one stage my soul has been within the form of an Asian Lung, a Chinese dragon species native to Earth, and although I am not entirely certain I believe I lived on Earth during this time also, as I have also spent many lives here in the bodies of other creatures. As an eastern dragon my main coloration was actually white, with yellow and green markings. I remember having a black or very deep blue blue Pearl as my source of power and my soul. I am unsure what my purpose was at this point in time or whether I had one so instead of relying on guesswork I will leave this discussion for now.
So i do not disagree with white dragons being rare. In regards to speaking of just one species or type of dragon maybe, but there are many different types of dragons, native to here and forein. Souls in this multiverse are as diverse as the creatures within it. Nothing is impossible.

Hello hello hunter.
I'm an Icelandic rune reader with a Long history of studying the runes (about a whole decade's worth).
The runes are Easily transcribed to the current alphabet of the English (and most other western) language(s).
Thusly, what you've presented as your "true name" looks like this in the modern alphabet;
Argret Fang Reaper
Now, here's the thing.
This IS in English.
And knowing how much trouble you have to go through to write something in perfectly symmetrical runes (lots of copy-pasta of images, or installing a runic font to your computer) I have to call this as I see it. You've obviously lied.
Secondly, runes aren't a language, they're an alphabet. So suggesting that your name is in an "ancient runic language" is another obvious misrepresentation.
And I have to ask.
Just how stupid/gullible do you think we are?

You beat me to it. Not that it matters. you worded it better than i could. Hunter i have been reading these runes for years. I must agree with Miniar, they are no secret language and they can be directly translated into modern english text, each symbol representing a letter or character.

Doesn't change the fact that "Fang" and "Ripper" are English words.
And that "Runic" is not a language.
And that obviously, since you know your name contains both these words, you flat out lied when you claimed your name was not "in English".
I didn't "put it into English" as in "translate" it. It's written in English, just with a different font.
Changing your font does not equal writing in a different language.
Times New Roman =/= Latin Nor Italian.

That..."runic text" that you used is a computer-based font, which means you had to have typed the letters in English, on an English keyboard, in order to have been able to present us with that jpeg file.
Next time, if you're trying for mysticism and allure, you should probably write the letters out on a sheet of paper, then claim that they came to you in an unknowable form, then scan that sheet of paper...instead of blowing the whole thing by using a well known Microsoft Word Font download.
Please do not exaggerate claims here. We may think some crazy things when it comes to self identification, but we're not entirely daft.

lol, i thught that 'runic' language was familiar. it looked like it was either from 'tolkien' or gaelic...
anyways, i don't want us to follow the rules of the internet here, so come on people! back on topic! someone has asked for help and now we are complaining at someone who tried to be creative but failed. not very hepful is it?
and i'm sorry i don't really have an opinion i feel like voicing at the moment. i'm to tired. i might be an insomniac, but i still need some sleep, and i have only had five hours sleep in three days. i'm going to curl up on the floor and sleep for a few hours. (not joking about the floor part either, i sleep better on the ground...)

1. This is a post that has been subject to forum necromancy. It's been months since it was posted and I haven't seen Gaia around May.
2. It's not a runic language. It's a runic alphabet. It's called "Elder Futhark"
3. I suppose lying can be considered "being creative", but I'd hardly use that term because it seems to take away from the simple fact that this isn't a roleplaying site and so, creative endeavors of that type aren't exactly welcome.
