 Dreams!
Interesting dreams
Reply with quote Report this post

I love how interesting my dreams can be...and now that I'm trying to pinpoint my animals, I think that writing down the dreams can be helpful. Right now, I feel like a mix between a clouded leopard/wolf/hawk (or any larger bird of prey).

This is my first dream since starting the process of learning my true animal nature...

My mom and brother and I took a stroll by some tennis courts (we all play tennis) while it was snowing outside. We were up on a hill, so we could see for miles and the sun was just setting. My mom had just bought my brother and I two foxes as pets. My fox was a beautiful, strong red fox.

As we played with them in the snow, someone was running towards us saying "Run, run!!!" The person was being chased by a gigantic crocodile. We couldn't get into the gate for the tennis courts, so we had to climb, carrying our foxes. When we were safely inside the courts, there was a person in there with a huge white kitsune as a pet. While we tried to find our way to get out without the crocodile following us, my fox ran out through a small hole in the fence, so I chased after it.

Somewhere during the dream, the seasons changed from winter to summer, and some friends from high school came along. Apparently a gorilla and a crocodile had escaped from the zoo and one of my high school friends was in charge of finding them, so she got her work people together to capture the croc. The escape from the zoo involved a strange, evil energy that had possessed the gorilla and croc, making them bloodthirsty for everything. I woke up before they caught either, and I never saw my fox again, but I somehow knew it was safe.

Anway, I've never had any recurring dreams with any of these animals, so I don't believe this dream to be associated with my animal. But I thought it might mean something.

Anyone else have dreams??? I'm interested to read them, I didn't see an estabilished dream topic on the general forum yet.

I wish I knew what your dream meant (sorry u.u). I have had a lot of dreams with alligators though (even though I know you said crocodiles). I've read that it means caution. Also treachery, deceit, hidden instincts. A site (http://www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/a2.htm) I visited said-

To see a crocodile in your dream, forewarns of hidden danger. Someone near you is giving you bad advice and is trying to sway you into poor decisions. The crocodile may be an aspect of yourself and your aggressive and "snappy" attitude. Or maybe it reveals that you have displayed some false emotions and shedding "crocodile tears".

To dream that you are chased or bitten by a crocodile, denotes disappointments in love and in business.

To dream that you are running away from the alligator, indicates that you are unwilling to confront some painful and disturbing aspect of your unconscious. There is some potentially destructive emotion that you are refusing to acknowledge and owning up to.

The same site says-

To see a gorilla in your dream, suggests that you may be too "over the top" in your behavior. Perhaps you are compensating for your rigidity and stiffness in your waking life. Alternatively, the gorilla symbolizes your primitive impulses, wild nature and repressed sexual energy.

And-

To see a fox lurking about in your dream, represents cleverness and resourcefulness. You need to use your insight and intellect to solve some problem. Perhaps you need to conceal your thoughts and/or remain silent. Alternatively, it indicates a period of isolation or loneliness. It is a good way for you to use this time to reflect.

I wish I could be of more help!

I had a pain of a dream the other night. I was pregnant, and I was not happy about it. I wouldn't admit it to myself, I played happy, but I wasn't. I was so uncomfortable and felt regret. The only happy thing was that I was going to go to an antique store to buy an amethyst gemmed piece of jewelry, and I planned to buy it so that someday I could give it to my child. I had already looked at some new, expensive blue gemmed jewelry, but I didn't like it enough, and it was too much money, even though I had money that I could buy it with.

My dreams are a combination of images and sensations and that barely follow any sort of coherent plot most of the time.

When awakening i had more draconic esk dreams but after that it's just been more apart of my waking life so i don't get too much of it in my dreams anymore.

Whoa Elocin, all of those signs are definitely big things in my life at the moment...and I've had dreams where I'm pregnant too...I hate those, the father always ends up being someone I would never want to be with.

Oh my gosh! I just figured out what my dream meant!

The reason I'm so uncomfortable (in the dream) is because my life now feels out of my control, which is how I feel being pregnant in my dream. Being pregnant was a responsibility that I didn't want, and it made my life go in a course that I didn't want. The gems were what I'm getting from my life now, petty amusements to keep me from going completely overboard, little things to look forward to to divert me from how I really feel!

Oh, and the reason that I settled for a gem that was less money than the one I could afford was probably because the things I'm getting from my life now are of less value than they used to be! And in my dream while I was pregnant, I accepted it even though I wasn't happy, and dealt with it in a kind of dull optimism, which is how I handle the problems in my life now.

Thank you maraud! *hugs* Your last comment helped me figure it out! ^-^

Rather than regale you all with my dreams, as they occur often etc, I'll link to my blog; I record them there and try to keep it up to date, for any who might be interested.

Boop!

Also I'm glad you were able to find some meaning in your dreams!

I had four dreams last night, and all of them were short.

Dream one: I was inside of a zombie video game. I was in a level in which I was transformed into a housecat so I could kill zombie rats. After my level was completed, I was returned to my human form and transported to my garage. In the distance I could see a hoard of lumbering zombies coming my way. I ran to my house and saw a zombie wielding a chainsaw was chasing after me. I was able to make it to my house, but when I shut the door, the zombie wedged it's arm in the doorway. I screamed, "I need to save the game!". I then paused and began scrolling through the menu while the zombie waited on the other side of the door. It took a knife and stabbed my hand so I yelped, "Hey! The game is paused! Let me save!". After not being able to figure out how to save, I had to yell for assistance from inside my house.

Dream two: I sat down on my computer and turned it on. My stepdad was sitting at a table nearby and says that because I think I am so much better than anyone else in the house, I am not allowed to use the computer. We argued about how we hated each other and eventually I was screaming and crying while he laughed in my face. Then I went to my mother and told her about all the things he had said about me, and she ignored everything and said that she didn't think he would ever say anything so horrible about me.

Dream three: My boyfriend and I were involved in a battle on the wall of a stone castle. A blonde girl ran to stab me with a bundle of arrows and my boyfriend jumped in front of me and was stabbed. The girl broke the arrows so they were embedded inside of him. While he collapsed to the ground, the girl took out a dagger and stabbed me in the stomach.

Dream four: I wake up in the night to see two new text messages from my boyfriend. The first one says, "I think i love you......." and the second one says something like, "Ah! I know we haven't been going out for very long, so please don't freak out!"

I have no clue at all what my first dream might mean. My second dream probably has something to do with the unspoken discontent my stepdad and I have for each other. My third dream most certainly involves the fact that my boyfriend and I try to protect each other, but we just can't no matter how hard we try. And I'm almost thinking that my text message dream could have been precognitive.

Interesting dreams Yakshini ^-^ I've been having a spot of precog lately too. Oh, and thank you Luinbariel! I am glad too! ^-^

Since scars mentioned Gabriel on the Otherkin forum, I was thinking maybe I should share my dream about him/her and see if anyone has any thoughts about it?

I'm at my ex-best friends place, and we decide to go out. We're really careful, because where she lives in the dream it's filled with gangs. We walk what seems to be south, and go into a dollar/convenience store. I walk up near the cash register, and there's a man with blonde/red hair pulled back in a pony-tail standing off to the side.

He smiles at me, and I smile back, and ask who he is. He smiles, says he uses the name (something like David, don't actually remember it) on Earth, but his real name is Gabriel. I noticed he was holding a pad of paper. I looked at it, and he was drawing rose colored lines in sways on the paper.

Dream me recognizes this as my life paper, and says to him "Why are you writing in so much goodness?" (or something like that, meaning, he was drawing my life in a very favorable way for me). He looks at me and smiles again, and hands me a blanket. He says to me that I need to take the blanket down to the park and give it to the first little boy I see. He asks me if I'm willing to do it, and after thinking I said yes.

I took the blanket and left the store, walked not 15 feet away and came to the corner of the park. There was a woman with three kids there, two older ones (around 7ish) and a younger boy that was hiding in a play tent. The bigger kids looked at me and said "what is that weird lady doing?".

The mom didn't really react to me at all, just smiled at her kids and pulled them away from me so that I could get closer to the little boy. He was not yet 3 I'm sure, and he had brown curly hair. He was a little afraid of me, but I just smiled and took the blanket and tucked it in around him. When I did that he started to shyly sing, and when he forgot the words I started to sing with him so that he could still sing. I realized that that was what Gabriel had wanted me to do, help him sing.

After he was all tucked in I left and went back to my friend's boyfriend's house. Her (dream) boyfriend was there, and in a bad mood because he had broken a bone. Another guy who was older than him, and a grandfather were there. We were all in the kitchen. The grandfather started to recite a poem, which the older guy and I listened to happily. Her boyfriend, who was listening too, got irritated by it and left the room. There was some dialogue about how he was just in a bad mood and being childish between me and the older guy.

I left the kitchen and tried to find a way back to my home. The streets and sidewalks had too many dangerous people on them, and I wasn't willing to risk it. I decided to try going through their backyard, because behind the yard was a forest. I walked towards the forest, and the dream ended.

So, any thoughts? o.o Thank you for reading so much!

Awesome dreams, guys! Yakshini, I bet what you said about your dreams was right. Anything develop from the text message? Sometimes I feel like I've had precog dreams before, or at least a deja vu.
And Elocin, to me your dream sounds like you're a caring, protective person, and going out to help a boy in the middle of a dangerous area shows how caring you are. I bet you feel safer or more at home in the forest, which is why you took the chance to go that way instead of the streets at the end of your dream.

...I haven't been able to remember any of my dreams in awhile, I think I've been so stressed and tired that I can't remember!

Last night I dreamt something strange again, though the place where I was in the dream was familiar, I have been there on several occasions.

I had just come from somewhere else in another dream kind of (hard to explain) and was walking around with a little throw blanket as a skirt/dress (part of the other dream involved me forgetting to get my shorts back somehow... not sexytime, just normal forgetfulness).

As I'm walking around I find a strange dark building, and I'm inside. Its got a long hallway with little doors and windows inside, sort of like a shopping mall only all the walls are made of old dark wood, the floor is wooden, and its dark. Everything is closed. But one place, in the same area of this strange and narrow little hallway mall is in the same place as ever; a HUGE antique store.

I meet up with a friend randomly outside and we go through the antique shop's open doors. Its also strange and dark, full of long corridors, and the same dark wood. It is changed a little this time, though. Something is different, and it looks like there are rennovations. I peek to the right through a huge black velvet curtain and see inside a room set up like a small medieval courtroom of sorts; it is still full of unrelated antiques, but all the furniture is new. And on top of that, I am startled, and I jump, when I see a woman inside dressed in period costume from the early victorian era.

I step back and hide, then peek again; more and more women are inside, working, all dressed in the same period. I step away and continue further into the store, confused as to why they are there, what they are doing.

We enter a room mainly for toys and I'm scared again; there are talking ones this time, ones that are interacting with me. They want to make a deal, they promise me that if I trade something (I think its a certain amount of my time) they will dress me up just like the other women here. I very much want that as I'm missing my shorts and love the dresses, so I say yes. My friend leaves and I sort of stay, listening to the toys make their little songs.

A man, who works there as a janitor, is watching the whole time I'm sitting on the counter with these toys, and he seems strange as well. He has a bad feeling I don't like. Like he's not really a janitor, but has some kind of plan.

Suddenly I'm wandering through more rooms in what has become a house, and I see my reflection in mirrors. I'm wearing some kind of white dress now, but I don't see my face. My manner changes a bit. I'm polite, quiet, naive. I pass through rooms that are now decorated with period pieces and no longer crappy antiques and junk.

I meet up with some little girl, also in period dress, and we go into another room. It is a huge males study but as we're at the door, a tall man with a large group of men comes in and begins talking. They don't see us at first but when I say something to the little girl, they see me and are upset that we're there, curious as to who I am.

I apologise and leave, though the girl stays behind. They were talking about something they wanted to keep a secret. not sure what. He seemed like a judge only without the wig. Powerful man, powerful position.

Then I meet up with yet ANOTHER woman, someone dressed also for the times but more sternly; she says the whole town wants to meet me, as she leads me away, and indeed I see a large number of appropriately dressed people looking at me, cheering a bit. I duck, nervous. I'm joined by many children with this woman leading us in rows, and she has them recite multiplication tables or something. I can't go along (never could do math in my head) then i wake up.

Sorry for the text wall!
