Dream or something else?
|
 |
|
This is a pretty odd experience, but I was curious if it happened to anyone else?
I had a dream that started out rather normally, just random imagery flashing in my mind. Suddenly, the imagery stopped and I was at a large field and I started being attacked by very dark looking people, almost as though they were possessed or demonic. I remember being very overwhelmed since there were five of them and they were relentless. I got knocked down and then stabbed with a knife and actually felt an extreme amount of pain. I got up and noticed that I not only had claws but was much larger as well (almost as though a shift had occurred or something). I proceeded to dispatch the attackers very easily after that. The strange part is IMMEDIATELY after finishing off the last one I woke up and heard footsteps in my bedroom. My hands where the claws had been felt like they had been run under extremely hot water and my teeth (more specifically, my canines) felt like they had been tearing into something and felt strange. This hasn't been the first time I have been attacked while I was asleep, but just curious as to why I would be a target. The only question I have is; was this some type of astral plane experience?

sometimes if a dream are very stressful/painful, your body will react even if you sleep, you might bite your teeths together and they will hurt or feel strange, if you arent clearly awake you can still feel or hear as if you were in your dream.
dreams are a reflection of your feelings in your waking life, your dreams show what you feel in the form of different symbols.

Feeling pain in dreams is definitely unpleasant, though I gather that it doesn't happen too often. I've experienced it myself and even woken up in pain...perhaps because the dream pain is being caused by an outside stimulus...like a trapped hand.
Perhaps this doesn't fit entirely, but you may like to look into 'sleep paralysis'. It's something I get pretty often, sometimes random hallucinations but also sometimes nightmares drifting over into the 'wakeful' terror state that sleep paralysis causes. People get sleep paralysis when going in or coming out of sleep and waking up to footsteps could fit with that.
I thought I would suggest this, anyway, just throw it out there for consideration.

Mantos raised a good point there. You know, when I'm asleep, I tend to be really violent toward the hordes of enemies I'm encountering. As soon as I wake up, I'm still trying to get hold of something with my claws. My mouth is jammed shut or, in other cases, my teeth are trembling out of excitement and anxiety. I growl sometimes when I'm dreaming or when I'm finished dreaming.
So that's what they call 'an astral plane'? Well, it freaks me out.

Many good points were brought up about the nature of dreams. But if you are feeling threatened you can always work on getting into the habit of shielding yourself. When feeling threatened a very common one is imagining your body wrapped in a bright light. Some dreams are very realistic. Usually I feel pain in my dreams and it's not too uncommon where I'm attacked and/or claw the sh** out of my attackers. Sometimes I can be a bit shaken upon awakening, but I generally haven't attributed it to an attack. I'd say trust your gut.

Mantos - I agree with your statement, it definitely makes sense to me.
Thanks for the input everyone!

Since there already is a thread like this one, I thought it would be a bit stupid to create a new one.
Anyway.. Scary events... This morning, I was dreaming about my older sister, I was at her place, then I woke up or thought I did, kinda woke up in my dream, wcich i thought was the reality...
I could feel another human beside me in my bed but the head of that person was on the other side of the bed, I got pretty confused and tried to sit up and see who it was, that person pushed me down and held my hands, I couldnt move at all.
I heard my father walking up the stairs and opened the bathroom door, that's when I realised, I was stuck in my own dream but kinda awake but at the same time, I thought it might be my sister, but shes at the Faroese Islands...o_O
I really tried to open my eyes but impossible, I could only call for help within my dream and my dream people are kinda mean...
I called for my guide instead, I aksed him who was in my bed, he answered "..... nobody is in your bed... its only you in here.."
Guess he found me pretty stupid... T_T.. After that I could open my eyes..

While dreams and sleep paralysis could certainly account for this sequence, I suspect something more is going on, because people that aren't even on this site have been experiencing this same problem at what appears to be an increasing rate compared to past years, or even just a few months ago. If you'd like, I can give you online contact info for them, and you can discuss it.

If I may chime in on a unrelated but rather relevent topic.
Many people who have been "Abducted by Aliens" Experience simmilar events to what you said. In many of the cases the people are not abducted by physical entites but rather spiritual ones. The majority of Alien abductions happen in dreams and cause sleep paralysis, sleep paralysis upon waking up is common in almost all cases of Alien (or spiritual) contact.
There are two possibilities 1) you are being attacked by entities beyond yourself ie Astral. or 2) it is just a dream and your subconscious is "attacking you" itself. Even if it is truly a dream the problem can be avoided by protection magic and prayer. prayers for protection will stop these attacks (even if they are dreams or not.) If this continues I sugest you clear your house and your mind of negative energy.
I used to have almost nightly attacks like the ones you describe, I was litterally raped by negative spirits every night in dreams similar you yours, and awoke nightly with sleep paralysis where I would hear the entities laughing at me. I woke up (as well as every member of my family on a nightly basis) at exactly "3:33" every night, and we all woke up at exactly the same time from nightmares. and I firmly belive my house was bassically infected with negative entities like a sick dog is infected with worms. There was alot of bad stuff and negativity for these entites to feed off of. But my metaphor was that our spirtual lives were paracitic. And once I started to cleanse my house/life/body/mind/soul of negativity the problem went away.
Anyway Books on communicating with angels and calling on guardian angels for help (and to fill your life/ house with angels themselves) will do you a world of good.
anyway I have experienced this on a very real level

I definitely know that mine can't be attributed to sleep paralysis. I have only experienced it one time.
Anyways two nights ago I had another "attack" occur on me. Again, I disposed of them fairly easily, but not with my usual method. I actually used psychic energy in my dream to get rid of them. Maybe that is significant or something?

I would like to hear of some more experiences but preferably from members of this site.
My concern is why would I be attacked? How am I significant from anyone else out there? Why keep attacking if all I do is destroy them every time?

Have you considered that some of these "dreams" could be screen-memories? Screen-memories can be naturally-produced as a response to psychological-trauma, however it is well-established in the Abductee/UFOlogy community that ET's will implant false-memories/experiences psychically in order to conceal their presence, your perception of "footsteps" in your room lends some theory to this as Abductions are physical at least as often as spiritual, perhaps even more common. Other common screen-memories (Especially used by 'The Greys') are owls, rabbits, deer, dark-eyes humanoids, cars with flashing lights, doctor-visits, helicopters, and others. Have you noticed any strange markings or bruises after these events otherwise that are difficult-to explain?
Otherwise, I might agree that your mind "perceived" it was in pain and responded to it, the footsteps could be explained away as the house settling, activity in a different room, etc.

I actually had thought about that, but I usually don't see any of those images in my dreams. Actually, I have never seen any of those things in my dreams. As far as strange markings, I have not observed any except for a scar which is "flame-shaped" that I don't know how I acquired.
Other than that, I can't explain the footsteps by any means. The floor was concrete with carpet, which makes a crackle sound when stepped on. I also was the only person home at that time.
In regards to the whole abduction phenomena. I have no doubt it exists. I have no doubt it happens to people that express psychic abilities or that extraterrestrials have a role in their development. It is just finding a way to link everything in a way that makes sense.
