What I'm reading is that it should probably be divided into 2 sections. The first being what kinism (wow is that a word? XD) is and how it affects people on a more global scale and the second being on a smaller scale which involves our own experiences of being kin, both our personal experiences and our experiences since we joined as a community.

Whatcha think?

sounds good even though i would highlight the "us section" more, as there already is a good book about otherkin in general.

I think I agree with Duumy, it should be more "about us" than about kin.

Sort of a grouping of voices of those in the community.

Yea I always meant the book the be focused on us, but we cant expect readers to understand the basics or to have read another book by a different author.

Yes but even if we do, they are always those who are new with their awakenings and might have a little more, if any more knowledge than the average person.

hehe...i knew which strip you meant before clicking the link Grin

i too think it's a good idea... but who asks? Embarassed

I'd be happy to approach Orion. It'd probably best be one of the staff here anyway Smile

Maybe we should all arrange to get together on the chatroom and discuss the book plan. Once we have a basic chapter outline writing it will be ten billion times easier. Your wednesday sometime? I won't be around tomorrow, but the next day, my thursday, your Wednesday, I should be around. Say, midday my time which is somewhere between 6-8pm in various places in the US, 2am for you duumy ^^

If we don't get a plan of attack we may stuff around with the idea until... well.. forever.. with a plan we can all deligate different sections to certain people or groups of people and get on to writing them.

If things are in MSword format, or similar, I have a pdf converter on my copy of office, so, unless we're doing something huge, do we really need a fancy pdf system? I guess we can look into that when we get there. ^^

I can't be there on that date either.

My jerk neighbours have gotten bedbugs, and now the entire floor of our apartment building is being sprayed. We won't be allowed in the house for awhile and all of our possessions will require cleaning, so I'll be quite busy for awhile.

thanks... I don't want to derail this thread too much, but I'll give a little info.

We don't even have a problem, we have no bugs, but we were given only two days notice to pretty much move everything we own into the center of the room, and take apart all shelves and bedframes and that sort of thing. Then we have to do it again two weeks later when they come to check up.

I was SO MAD yesterday, it's a big part of why I didn't feel well in the chat.
